Central, Baker, and Zachary all had to pass both the state and EBR. Central won ebr 52-48, before the post Katrina demographic switch.
The StG committee is looking for away to not have it pass EBR.

Ah, ok.
Not sure you get all of the Central/Zach/Baker vote, but would imagine those go towards StG.
The rest I guess would be too early to tell depending on what the districts lines will be.

Because they have to amend the constitution in order to create (or fund, I can't remember which one right now) a new school district, it has to be approved by both a majority of voters in the state and a majority of the parish it affects. So the entire state and the parish need to approve it.

The same thing is true for an amendment that affects five or fewer municipalities in the state.
I thought I read somewhere that just the part of EBRP that is part of EBRPSS has to approve the break (so no Central, Baker, or Zachary), but that doesn't seem to be the case based on the above link.

Makes sense.
As I said, I would imagine how the lines are drawn depends on if it gets approved or not. Who gets left out is more important than who is included.
