CRowpie - why did you move back? Do you regret your decision? We moved back a year ago and I'm pretty much over all of this BS school system infighting. Your point is one that I seldom see in these pissing match threads...pay x taxes for good schools or 3x for some private school that may not even be worth it. For my family it's an easy decision.

So freaking sad. Maybe one day this little town will succeed despite itself, but that day is not quickly approaching.

I always wonder the motivation for people like Asgard and Russian. Is it that their quality of life will be depleted when SG happens? Is it jealousy of something they won't get to experience? Do they live in the SG area with kids attending a mag school? Is it some kind of political battle they have to participate in from afar even though it doesn't concern them? Do they simply enjoy stiring the pot on the internet for entertainment purposes? I really do wonder the motivation...maybe it's totally justified because of a perceived threat or danger to them and their families. My apologies to you two if you've stated this somewhere in previous SG threads. Regardless of my own beliefs I have to take my hat off to your unbridled determination. To each his own.

How many of the signatures are from people that actually know what is going on? I've had people knock on my door and I almost signed so they would just leave me the hell alone. I literally had to slam the door in their face after trying to be nice about it. I bet most of the people signing the list were begged to sign and have no clue what the hell they just signed.

Same thing was said about Central and Central Private.

Hahaha no where even close to the same. Not even close. Show me where the money is in Central that is down Highland Road. The amount of kids that go to private school in St. George area pre capita is probably 10 times what it is in Central. If not 20 times.

You would be surprised at the ignorance that's involved in this. I get told all the time by St. George supporters that come to my place of work. That "when we become our own city we gonna really boost your pay and benefits. That things are gonna be so much better." Good deal but I work for BRFD and that could never happen.

True stroy and has happened multiple multiple times. People now a days just pick a side and fight to the death for that side. Yet shocking they are so dumb to what they are fighting for.
