In fairness, most people gripe about the security theater.
Let's also not forget that the hijackers didn't exploit poor security at the airports. The boxcutters they brought on board were legal at the time.
They were also able to exploit the prevailing sentiment that the plane and passengers held value as bargaining chips and not weapons, a mistake that is unlikely to be made in the future.

Yep. About what I would expect would happen with something traveling over 400mph? Fireball seems legit, windows breaking seem legit. Nothing on the video would ever lead me to believe a plane didn't hit the tower...couple that with the noise and reactions of many people on the street it's a no brainier.

In the first news report of flight 92 it said the airplane was scattered for miles. Then that report went away quickly. Ive always wondered if we shot that plane down.
