Anybody have these or know someone that does? When I would spend the night with my grandparents, my granddad would have these terrible dreams and talk in his sleep all night. Sometimes just moans and groans, sometimes he'd have conversations, like "come out from behind that tree so I can shoot you." He'd be fine the next day and have no memory of it, but it was scary to listen to.

My wife has these on a pretty regular basis. I've learned to notice almost immediately and just gently wake her up while reassuring her that she is OK.
She also suffered from sleep paralysis for years. It was interesting enough to me that I actually studied it and learned to enduce it myself. It's some pretty scary stuff.

Was your Grandfather in the war? I'm wondering if he was dreaming about that.
I have bad dreams sometimes, but not that often anymore. Most of them are fun. I used to have lots of bad dreams when I was little though. I'd sleep walk and would be playing a part in them. I used to really freak out my family, lol.

Most nights I have the same reoccurring dream where I'm strangling my mother. But about once or twice a week, my wife says I'll actually put my hands on her throat. We usually just laugh it off.
