Long story short, the jackasses just bought my previous dumpster company. Service seems ok, but the biz end (biling/customer service) is absolute crap. Anyone else seeing this?

Theyve been screwing over a neighboring city pretty damn hard ever since Harvey. Had storm garbage on their streets for damn near 2 months after that storm. Regularly miss pickup dates. They recently skipped an entire neighborhood for a week and a half.

Yea they are pretty bad. After Barry we had a tree down in our yard. Cut it up and placed it on the street. Had to call at least 5 times to get it picked up and if was finally picked up after 2 weeks.
Pretty much killed all of the grass in my front yard.
They even said that they were over loaded during Barry and had to third party contract some crews to help out.
Can’t imagine what would happen if a stronger storm hit the parish.

Spinoff? Republic bought up a Shiite pile of waste companies all over. Service declined in Baton Rouge for sure. Fricking drivers keep putting tire tracks in my lawn, then I found out that they had to hire women drivers due lack of male drivers who could pass DOT requirements (no dope). They often miss our street for a week if not two.

They handle our garbage pickup and they are horrible. They rarely completely empty the cans. 75% of the time they toss the can on it’s side in the street. And their truck leave huge grease spots on the street in front of every house they service.

Republic is the absolute worst vendor I have.

I had a different problem with them. I lived in a townhome in BR and they would come empty the dumpster at about 4 in the morning. There were two of them together and the banging of the dumpsters was loud as shite. Beep beep beep as the backed up to get the other one, then bang bang bang. I couldn’t go back to sleep.
I called one frustrated morning and they agreed to make it later in the route. Then a week later, bang bang bang. So I called again, same thing, good for a week then back at the early time. I finally gave up.
