I grew up in the era of British Motorcycles and every year Norton would put out their yearly calendar filled with bikini clad young ladies straddling their motorcycles.
Same for many tool companies with their bikini clad models showing off the latest tools that could be bought.
The good ol' days when sex sells meant young women in great shape with pretty faces, not these morbidly obese women parading around in skimpy clothing or worse yet, some tranny pretending to be a woman so they won't feel left out........

Then you probably remember the BSA motorcycle ads that were featured in all the hot rod magazines. Very fine ladies graced those pages.

Yep. Even had me a 68 650 BSA twin for a couple years.
BSA stood for "Bastard Stopped Again" because of the Lucas electronics they used on the bikes that were pretty unreliable back then.
