SPINOFF- Kids and smoking

At what age would you be OK with your kids smoking cigarettes outside the house but in front of you? Would you but then? Let's see how these answers here compare to all those parents who support underage drinking in their kids.

I'd beat the shite out of my child if I caught them smoking cigarettes, but I'd do it responsibly inside the comfort of my own house.

I didn't start smoking infant of my mom until around 25... I still try not to out of respect, but if she comes to visit me or we are out all day I'm lighting up at some point. I just have to put up with her bitching 
My dad, on the other hand, I smoked infront of around 19-20... But he was the one leaving the cigarettes around when I was a teenager.

While parents can help prevent kids from smoking this is a little out of hand. Especially the fact that kids will be around cigarettes from friends and other kids their age. A parent can't always be around, if a kid wants to smoke he/she is going to smoke.
