That's Greeley, dude.
I lived in Cheyenne while in the Air Force. I loved Fort Collins. My rent at the time was $300/month and I'm sure now housing is expensive as all hell.

Strictly related to skiing, if skiing lift-served terrain is important for you, I would not move to Loveland, I'd move to a town like Evergreen, Conifer, or Genesee where you can ski a lot of half days w/ the same time commitment as going to hit golf balls.
FWIW Loveland Ski is not near Loveland, CO. It's off i-70 near Loveland Pass/Arapahoe Basin, About 2 hours each way.
W/ the I-70 resorts, you'll be in the back of the line for the Vail 500 every Saturday morning, behind all the Denver skiers. Steamboat is 3.5 hours away.

My wife (no pics) and I 15 years ago almost moved to Fort Collins from here in Baton Rouge. At the time we were both teachers. We spent 4 days there, it was great at that time. The district there at that time had no openings. Then my MIL got sick and we stayed here in BR to help her. We are still here.
