Believe it or not my bride's little 6 pound Yorkie is a deer tracking bitch. She has found several poorly shot deer (none by me or my bride). She goes to the camp every weekend during hunting season and will track 4-6 deer every year.

She's not fast but is always within sight when tracking.

Any dogs that weigh less than 125lbs are pets. And pets are basically living emergency rations.
