Speaking of baseball bats...question about BPF

If all non-BBCOR bats are labled at 1.15 then why is a $300 bat better than a $100 bat?



I've wondered this for a couple of years now.

Longevity of the bats usually. Along with the materials used inside of the bats. Composite bats tend to be more expensive than half and half.

But they both send that ball back at a max of 1.15 BFP.

I suspect that while some bats are legal that don't have 1.15. That's the difference.
