Sometimes it's inevitable you will get hurt

Yesterday I'm minding my own business sitting on a step outside. Suddenly, this bee buzzes right in my personal bubble, & at first I don't think much of it b/c it's probably going to fly off, right?
Nope. This bee- hovers centimeters in front of my face where I can hear it buzzing it my ear.
I don't panic, but I also have no where to move but forward on the stairs.
So, as soon as the bee bumbles up, I duck my head & do a rip thru move to gain maximum momentum trying to avoid getting stung in the face.
Turns out, there was metal railing around me that my swim move caught and drug across my back. Stung bad enough at first couldn't tell if the bee got me, or the railing.
Now, I gave a nasty welt on my back that looks like someone took a cane to it.
Sometimes, you can't win.
What's worse? A gashed back bruise, or a single bee sting to the face?

Well the bee might not have ended up stinging you, so good job hurting your back, dummy.

Why didn't you slap the bee like a man?

Because he let up, he could have injured the bee if wanted to though.
