A Cat 3 or higher making landfall on Vermillion Bay would be catastrophic. The storm surge would be immense and push inland possibly to Youngsville.
How many places do you know of in Louisiana that are 45 miles inland, and still at 3 foot in elevation?

Nice chart but the color contrast on the storm category dots needs some work. They're so close that it's tough to tell what cat it was.
