Someone educate me on Rogain or other hair loss preventative meds

Getting to that point where my hair is starting to be everywhere but on top of my head. I know I can't stop the inevitable but looking into possibly delaying it. Anyone take hair loss meds that work? It's really not a big thing to me but I figure while I'm in this early stage of loss, it can't hurt to ask. Isnt Rogan super expensive?

It's expensive and apparently when you stop taking it you lose all the hair it helped regrow.

When I was locked down for 90 days I was able to grow a serious beard and shave my head almost to the skin, I learned fast that people don't frick with you when looking like that

My wife bought me some hair loss treatment a few months ago. It's still chilling on the vanity. I would just shave my head and go get a ton of tattoos.
