Municipalities (in Louisiana) are listed as a village, town or city except for Lafayette, which is listen as "consolidated government".
For those familiar with the local government there, what does that mean? The parish runs as one body of government?

I more wonder about the employees in those Acadiana Mall stores you had to leave their jobs early and not get paid all the hours they were scheduled.
