It was the first safe area that came to mind. If he can pull behind Books a Million he'd be fine. Otherwise I'd just drive to Denham. Not really any crime there and places to eat etc.

I'm a truck driver as well, gtfo of br. You can head up to the Chevron on 61 north of town, a lot of truck stops on the other side of the river. Dont stay in Baton Rouge for parking.

I roll through there all there all the time during the day. GTFO of there after dark. Plenty of truck stops off the intersate

North Ardenwood has seen homicides, robberies...all within 2 years. If you are on Ardenwood and Florida, turn around and head south.

My mom lived on S Ardenwood when I was in HS. That's certainly an area where the "stay south of Florida" rule applies. It completely changes when you cross over
