The G.O.A.T. Sports anchor. As cool as the other side of the pillow

Not even close. Maybe for you young uns who came after the real Sportscenter heyday. The guys before him were the best ones. They were great. Scott was gimmicky and ghetto. ESPN wasn’t sure about it at first but he became popular so they went full ghetto and that ruined ESPN. Then every anchor was in a contest to see who could out-ghetto the next guy. Now it’s just trash. But Stuart, I won’t deny did change the whole business. He was good, not great, just gimmicky.

The days with Dan Patrick, Craig Kilborn, and yes, Olberman (pre losing his mind) was the pinnacle of sportscenter.

Even Nick and Fred on the CNN Sports show that aired at night were awesome.

"Ghetto" is a bit strong to describe Scott. He had little to do with ESPN's ruination, IMO.

they are asking about people's experiences and recommendations.

Then they should say they are looking for recommendations, not just ask if anyone knows of any in the area. Be more specific with their questions, rather than so general.

"Does anyone have any experience with plumber XXX?"

"Does anyone have a plumber in ______ area they would like to recommend before I just start calling around?"

Or maybe you could apply some logic to the questions asked on an online chat board?

Do you respond this way to people in real life?
