it had nothing to do with any active LSU players so I am not concerned at all.

Was a big concern when the story broke but now that we have the details, most are relieved. Straight up embezzlement with nothing to do with LSU.

He was laundering money through connections he met through the program, people who wouldn’t be obviously in his social circle but he probably knew well enough from booster functions. Not much to suggest he was actually paying players. If there was anything else to it, it would have leaked or come out in the trial. Vadal was pretty good but not 180k good.
