Kate McKinnon isn't funny and has a punchable face. Also whats up with these cast members spending 8 years on the show? Can't find other work? The greats never spent more than 3-5 years when this show was actually funny.

I think you’re on to something. The endless cycle of up and coming comedians made SNL great. Compounding the talent bottleneck is the fact they spend an inordinate amount of resources chasing diversity instead of talent with the few openings they have. Hell, it was a standing joke for years that an attractive female couldn’t get hired. Today it’s unfathomable to think Gilda Radner was the most “attractive” lady on the cast for the better part of three decades.

But McKinnon and fat Aidy Bryant have been on nearly a decade. They clearly can't get work. In the old days, people like Bill Murray and Chevy Chase did a few years and became movie stars. These clowns on today aren't capable of that.
