Still they should have tried to out-do snapchat when they came out with the instagram stories. Dont come at me with some half-arse new feature and expect me to be impressed when I have snapchat features that can make my face harley quinn or a damn puppet ya know

Yep. As someone who grew up in the wildfire of myspace, facebook, etc., I find social media to be far TOO much of everything. Far too much personal info shared, far too much personal info STORED and saved by these companies, and FAR too connected to all of your other shite.
Remember when you could comment on articles anonymously WITHOUT having to sign in to facebook (thereby giving a website about shoes all your facebook info)?

Time will tell. It is hard to tell what Snapchat is worth. As it becomes more marketable to older people that actually have money, we will see. Old people are the last to jump on the bandwagon of new technology. Now they dominate facebook and are creeping in Insta and Fbook both. Will be VERY interesting to see.

Instagram has had the disappearing pic messages for and never gained any traction with it.
