Judging by the color, the alternating patterns, and the orientation of the snake, you can't take a fricking picture.

You deserve the internet for this

You are definitely wrong

Posters identify snakes like my ex-wife - everything is venomous.

Also, snake identification requests should require a clear picture of the head.

This is how you need to take a snake picture (Everglades Rat Snake)

It's not a copper-head.

If it was, he wouldn't have missed.

I knew what it was (diamond back water snake).

These "snake identify" threads remind me of the prick who bragged about shooting "water moccasins" at Cross Lake when the pictures he posted were clearly those of water snakes.

Did no one ever teach you the easy trick to identify a venomous snake?

Diamond shaped head - venomous
Egg shaped head - nonvenomous, but will still bite the piss out of you

The coral snake is the only exception to this that I know of but bites are rare, at least partly because the egg shaped head doesn't allow the jaws to open widely enough to get a good bite.

Also, two ounces of fresh semen, taken orally, will counteract any snake vemom. The more you know.
