I drive better when I'm drunk.

Maybe you should take a look at empirical evidence while you're looking around.

empirical evidence

I see it every day. The stoners I know cant remember shite, have become lazy and dont function very well.

When you grow up you'll see my point.

Ahh, good lord. I'm not sure how I can make this any more clear to you.

Assuming these "friends" exit, you could never be sure what caused their laziness, memory deficits, and functional deficits. Never.

You don't see empirical evidence, you see anecdotal evidence which from which you make unfounded assumptions.

Many of them know what the cause is. A few even admit that their chronic use has caused their regression.

This is real life not a textbook.

Carl thinks he is better at art appreciation when stoned, I drive better while drunk. Your shite aint strong.

You laughed when someone claimed that there are verifiable genius marijuana users. I brought up Carl Sagan as an example. Now you're moving the goal posts.

You do realize that alcohol is just as much of a drug as marijuana, right? One is illegal and one is not. However, driving while intoxicated is illegal in which you mentioned you do above so I'm not quite sure of your point.

Keep trolling though. If it entertains you, go for it.

Have you taken into account that the stoners you know might just be lazy people who weren't all that functional to begin with? Or that some people who smoke simply don't fall in to the line of thinking that the measure of a happy and successful life is how many commas you have in your bank account?

Again, if they are high all day, that is a problem. You can't be high if you are never level, then you are just out of your right mind. The people that do get high all day are the same as alcoholics, addicts, and any other compulsive gambler/liar/etc. They are not the rule.

Well that is their own damn fault. Weed does not make you lazy. Being lazy makes you lazy. People use weed as the excuse.

It is also funny that you take a couple of friends' personal anecdotes and make generalizations for every pot smoker in the world.

Completely stopping marijuana use is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was a habitual smoker from 17-23 and wasted a lot of good years blazed out of my mind. Thinking clearly and not being constantly paranoid is an excellent way to live

By the way, alcohol damages your brain much more than marijuana does.
