We had a crash 2 days ago, 180 crashed in 800' of water. The 4 occupants swam to shore, I have no idea how they made it. One in critical condition. Just like driving, always "leave yourself an out" if at all possible.
Whats the water temp right now?

Don't know what you're talking about. Just demonstrated a perfectly good crash landing.

Not to armchair QB this, but it looks like an open field and he is in a tail dragger, looks like it should be an easy landing even dead stick, unless he had some kind of control error.
Again,
Just looking at what I see.

Pretty sure they took him to OLOL
Their ER blows. I got into an accident and had internal bleeding, they wasted an hour checking me in there and doing scans then loaded me up and took me to OLOL.

He didn't land in that field.. It was the one on the other side of the hospital

I'd have to be in pretty bad shape to ever go back to that ER.

I was told by someone who was out there that he was showing signs of neurological damage and St. Elizabeth's doesn't have the proper equipment to work such cases.
And it was the field between the hospital and Mike Andersons.

About 40 degrees. They crashed in a steep walled fjord. We fly thru there often, rule of thumb is to fly at an altitude and path that you can reach land if you lose the engine. 100% of the time be aware of safe places to put down whenever you fly small planes.
