Brake tags are inspection stickers that go on your windshield. After a cursory "safety" inspection,you can purchase a one year tag for $10.
Or, you can purchase a two year tag for $20 and not have your car inspected for another two years. Real extra safety like!
It's another road tax.

I believe u, 2f. Just not sure why some folks call them brake tags if they don’t check yo brakes.
