Side effects of laser nail clipping for dogs

My dog apparently was quipped as a puppy so he FREAKS when anyone tries to clip his nails.
On the advice of our vet we decided to sedate him and get them laser trimmed so it would last longer. He also got a Bordetella shot, ears and teeth cleaned while he was sedated.
It's been 4 days and he's been super lethargic and not really eating, I think he has a fever, also his right foot is super tender from the nail clipping I guess.
Anyone know if this stuff is common?
I googled it and the Bordetella vaccine can cause a low grade fever so hopefully that's all it is. I'm kind of pissed at my vet about this laser nail thing though because they didn't tell me it could hurt his foot.
I feel like an overprotective parent but did the vet make my dog sick or is this stuff normal after shots and sedations?

Why haven't you called the vet?

LOL, no. An over protective parent would have called the vet the next day. A responsible parent would have called on the second day.

Well the vet said he'd be a little lethargic for a day or two after the sedation so he's not too far off schedule.
He's a dog he always sleeps half the day and it's not like he's starving to death just eating less than normal

Well, this is new information. You should call the vet first thing tomorrow morning.

Yea I'm gonna see how he feels in the morning and if the guy who comes and takes him out for me says he's still walking gingerly or moving slow I'm gonna call the vet on my lunch break
