It's two tiny arse rooms with the same people every night. Gets old.

yeah but those people are my people. Well at least they used to be.

I spent way too much time at that place. I went in there when I was in town not too long ago and saw some of the same people sitting on the same stools they were sitting on 10 years ago.

the owner was coked up and high as a fricking kite, and acting an arse, pulled a gun on me, haven't hung around there too much since

Well, since I'm highly allergic to lead, I think I'll remove Cub from the list of Shreveport hot spots to hit.

That's some good insight right there that makes this site so valuable to the rest of the civilized world.

You don't have to worry about getting a gun pulled on you. The guy he was playing pool with passed away in 2003.

You really need to go to The Cub with a local really appreciate the place.

Who owns The Cub now?

BR is a cesspool. Overcrowded. Stinky. Violent. Old. Way too many Catholics

Shreveport is cleaner. Safer. Hotter women. Protestant.

Shreveport >>>>> BR

The only hot women in BR are college chicks from Lafayette.

I'm about as local as it gets, and my opinion is that it's highly overrated, and the coolest feature it ever had was the curb service mixed drink drive in when I was in HS/college, and where is this mythical "best steak in town?" not much there imo

that's a shame, I miss Don's, and even the old, original Monsieur's, seems like it's either catfish or crawfish now

It will always be this place in my mind. With Jake and TJ not seeming to notice we were 15 years old.
