quote:Lived in Thibodaux for the first 30 yrs of my life Ok bias quote: I spent a lot of time in Houma... The question posed was " Should I live in Houma or Thibodaux" not which one has a f-ing Twin Peaks ( Trash) or a Southland "Hall" ( Trash ) Name me one benefit of living in Thibodaux as opposed to Houma. quote:I don't fish south of Houma, I fish down the Bayou, and I live in NOLA now so.....you my friend....obviously can't compute Down the bayou? You mean like places closer to Houma? Or Pierre Part which is the only place I can think of that is closer to Thibodaux which would be up the bayou? You speak of Thibodaux as if it is the mecca of class. Thibodaux is Houma with out all the great features that make Houma >>>> Thibodaux.

You are obviously and idiot...great features? Sit back and take a deep breath "uptown Nola" your wrong on this one. Thibodaux is miles ahead of Houma when it comes to "class"

Raceland is the most convenient with Hwy 90 being right there. 5 minutes from Wal-Mart, Rouses, Popeyes, Goal Post, Vic's TD Grill, and of course the world famous Becks bar. It's a no brainer, all of the positives of Houma/Thibodaux with none of the negatives most of all being traffic.

Only flooding concern is way back in neighborhoods off the bayou south of Nicholls (country club, grand mariner). I can't think of much else. Especially no apartment areas.

Rule of thumb, the closer you are to a bayou, the higher the land.

Sorry, I didn't want you to think I was actually calling you an a-hole. Search for Thibodaux's finest Chip Badeaux, great thread from last week.

Your never to old to go to Rene's. Which is absolutely my favorite. If you ever see a guy in there drinking bud light out of a can. It's me. I'm there every night wed thru Saturday

Thibodaux. Also, whoever said Flanagans is the best place within 70 miles give me a break. The best kept secret in Thib is Grady V's in the Country Club.
