Should I get the new Apple Watch?

I have the 2 and I am not impressed. The battery life is not great. I can’t imagine the 3 being much better.

I've had the 3 for a couple of weeks. I haven't yet run the battery down past 60% in one day of wear/use.
Don't know if that is good or not, but works for me.

If you enjoy burning $ for no good reason, go for it. All smartwatches are gimmicky, IMHO.

I have the one with cellular and really like it. Its nice to go for a run and not have to bring my phone. Also nice if I leave to run errands and forget my phone at home. Can still get calls and messages.

I have the apple watch 3. I've had it on since 530am and it is a 91% battery life.

I’ve had the Apple Watch since day one.
I really enjoy mine.
First of all, ignore the post about the battery. I just got home from work and my watch is at 90%. My watch is almost 2 years old. Battery is not a concern.
The most useful thing is screening notifications. When you get a notification, you get a tap on the wrist and can see if it is important or can wait. The busier your phone, the more you will enjoy this.
It has all of the fitness stuff.
I’ve found that most apps that have a watch app tend to not translate well.
I’m sure that the Series 3 doing a lot of these things independent of the phone only makes it better.
