So you think considering multiple options is dumb. Gotcha.
Well now that I know which elementary grade level you're on, I'll let our little chat die off.
Be a child. That doesn't change the fact that you're a moron. Consider all the options you want, but at least make them good ones.

It's a 598 big chief all steel body full tube chassis 1979 Luv. Makes 1158 at the wheels and it'll still take about 6 more degrees of timing but I keep it conservative
Here's a pic from the no prep race last weekend in Oklahoma
Eta: if you put DOT tires on it and the wiper arms back on it it's completely street legal.

Nice. Homeboy Fattcatt over at Stance auto set a lot of that up. Another good friend started up and organized Mopar Link Up out in Houston.

They did a pretty good job at this one, the one in March was kind of a cluster but I like the improvements they made this time. Looking forward to the next one.

I'd personally pick the z06 if you can swing it price wise. But.. it's gonna have to be pretty high mileage to get a z06 in the 20 to 25k. I don't believe they ever made an 05 model, I think 04 was the last year of the C5 Z06 platform.
Then the c6 came out in 06 and had the Z06 available. I pulled the recent auction averages from manheim for the 06's and they are all in the mid to high 30's but these are low mileage cars.
Here's the last 7 ones that went in August with price and mileage.
08/05/15 SEATTLE Regular $36,000 22,950
08/05/15 SEATTLE Regular $31,500 42,418
08/05/15 DALLAS Regular $37,200 18,157
08/06/15 CHICAGO Regular $34,200 10,993
08/19/15 NY Regular $37,000 12,255
08/20/15 DIGITAL Regular $32,960 47,195
08/27/15 RIVRSIDE Regular $27,250 80,311
Keep in mind.. these are what they brought at auction.. a normal person at a dealer isn't gonna get that price.
