Stand your ground doesn't apply from a vehicle. You wouldn't walk in FL

Spoken like a true pussy carrying a gun.

Did you miss the part in you CCL classes about responsibility for knowing when and w3hen not to use your weapon?

Right, everyone that texts in a theatre holds the phone up so everyone behind them can see the screen

If you're going to try to make a witty comment, don't forget the wit next time.

are we discussing the situation that led up to the physical altercation or what transpired after physical contact was made now? Because I thought it was made clear in the last two or so pages that the dead guy started the physical altercation.

That's not what the eyewitness said, but OK.

Louisiana is a right to own state and the requirement of a CCl is not needed for gun ownership in a vehicle.

I'm sure LA has a law on firing a weapon from a vehicle. You might want to sign up for a CWP class because you don't know shite.

and dont sit here and try to pretend like you are some big conservative because you support this murderer shooting a guy in the theater. that doesnt make you a conservative, it just makes you a dumb frick.
I am neither. Show me some "conservative" news reporting that has either shown the shooter to be innocent or guilty before even going to court.

Yes, because for every physical assault you're allowed to shoot the other person. He needs to show he was in fear for his life for stand your ground to even apply. And I'm pretty sure it's objective, not subjective.

Exactly. Old dude is going to be a prison bitch his last years of life.

Nowhere. The only eyewitness account only said "there was an altercation. Popcorn was thrown, not sure by whom. Then shots were fired." That's it. And I'm pretty sure attack by popcorn will not give legal use of lethal force.

No details on how the final confrontation got physical, but I'm sure we will hear soon enough.

If throwing popcorn is what got the younger guy shot, then the old guy is going to be in trouble.

and this little tidbit of info is all it takes for some of you small minded people to just run with a story and convict someone in the court of public opinion. That's all this country really is now isn't it. One big arse court of public opinion.

Pretty sure it's more small minded to shoot no matter how trivial the altercation is.

Nocco said his detectives considered if the case qualified under the state's controversial "stand your ground law," which permits residents to employ deadly force if they fear imminent danger, but decided the criteria did not apply, MyFoxTampaBay.com reported.
