Our original plan was to leave by 6:00, but we stayed later the more we drank. Found a nice place, the Old Mill, that made some decent Old Fashioned drinks, and LSU was on a huge screen nearby.

I carried in, no problem. I have my LTC and as long as the weapon is concealed, the Texas State Fair allows you to carry in.
