I don't think he made the statement to be hurtful. It was more like just stating a fact like "the sun rises in the east", "water is wet", or "Tuscaloosa is an embarrassment to Bama fans everywhere".

I voted down ticket in the local elections, and for tax code stuff. Wrote in Nick Saban as opposed to leaving the space blank. I've commented on it here a couple of times only as a defense to people calling me a liberal Clinton lover or whatever.
