Are these fields/platfoms serviced out of Fourchon?

Some. But also serviced out of Cameron, Venice, Galveston, etc. just depends on the rig and what they need.

And where are these “offshored” employees from?

Employees are kinda all over. When I worked there it was mostly Louisiana, texas and Mississippi guys. But we have a few who flew in from Florida and other states.

Vito, Whale and Sparta are all based upon the Appo

Vito was originally based on Appo but was changed to a single lift design when oil tanked in 2015 and saved 75% on steel cost. It's current design is nothing like Appo and is based on Delta House.

The POB to run an Appo or Perdido is 120+. While a Vito/Whale/Sparta was designed for a POB of 60.

They plan on adding on to all three of those platforms in the future to make them close to the same size as Appo.

This isn’t true at all.

Appo was built to be the biggest platform in the gulf probably due to a little hubris by leadership at the time. All of the newer ones are being built basically to minimal technical solution. Less online spares, less unnecessary deck space, less bunk space, etc. i.e. as little as possible to produce the project premise bpd.

Vito immediately began expansion after first oil to add Waterflood and added an auxiliary Quarters to support the construction staff to install the equipment, but that’s by no means the norm. The wells just dictated the need for it. There will certainly be expansion projects, but the economics will have to dictate it.

You still need the same number of POB to run the platform.

Not true at all.

I’m still waiting for Mexico to pay for the wall.

No you aren't. You're waiting on Mexico to stroke a check to the USA to pay directly for the wall. You have no actual knowledge of how our country could force Mexico to indirectly pay for something like this.

You can thank the people who voted for Biden for Mexico not funding the wall already.
