Sure there is. When were you born? These names cover the last 130 years or so. Gen Z Millennials Gen X Boomers Silent Generation Greatest Generation Lost Generation
These are constructs with no agreed upon criteria.
Part of the reason why so relatively little ink is spilled to discuss Gen X is because it’s the shakiest of constructs with so much variation from the start of the so-called generation to the end of it.
I’ve watched the development of these terms and noticed how Gen X started to get back dated more and more, while the Boomers had gotten front dated more and more until they touched.
Someone born in 1945-1960, who was at least a teenager if not a young adult during the Woodstock/Vietnam/Civil Rights protest era, is very different from someone born between 1960 - 1973, who primarily experienced the 1970’s post-Vietnam doldrums era as it turned into the optimistic 1980’s during their formative years.
For people born after 1973 through about 1990, they experienced the growing normalization of smaller families, divorce, working moms, latch key kids, post-cold war, abolishment of corporal punishment in school, growing safety as paramount, helicopter parenting, crack down of bullying, comparatively less independence at a young age, etc.
So we have 1945-1960 : Boomers
1960-1973: Rock Steady Generation (tweeners)
1974-1987: Gen X
1987 - 1999: Millenials
2000 - 2015: Gen Z
The dates are obviously inexact and differ based on individual circumstances.

I read that article yesterday. What a despicable piece of garbage.

Well at least she’s semi-aware that she’s an awful person.

I was reading on PubMed that up to 15% of the US population currently meets criteria for narcissistic personality disorder.
Honestly, I believe it, and I think they're underestimating it a little bit.

can quibble over particulars but as someone born in 1961 I have absolutely nothing in common with the assholes who were teens and above in 1967
I still remember as a little kid looking at those Woodstock generation assholes and feeling sorry for their kids.
