Just had hail here in Shreveport. I don’t know how large but woke me up like gunshots

There is technically no severe weather going on right now. There isn't a single severe thunderstorm warning in all of the country.

It probably was gun shots given you’re in Shreveport.

There is a bad mofo south of Alex right now. If I could get my damn image posted I would show RadarScope.

Check the view out over the Jackson Street Bridge as this storm rolled in. Thanks to Nick and Adeline Morse for sharing it. As of now, it looks like plenty of rain and thunder, but so far, most of this activity is just below severe limits. I’ll be off warning duty for a bit. Crazy day!

WWL-TV trying to help you understand a watch vs. a warning

Watch vs warning. It can be confusing, but think of it this way. A watch means the ingredients are there but nothing exciting yet. Warning means the ingredients have come together and you have something happening. Hope this helps! Face with tears of joy #BeOn4

I think the image on the right is more like a touchdown. I would think a warning would be everything boiling in the pot.

You know....I made my original post that he replied to just after midnight, right? This thread, about severe weather, was started at midnight, at which point there were all of zero severe thunderstorm warnings in the entire country.

I dont know because I am right.

And....I am still right because the only severe thunderstorm warning in all of the country at this time is in Oklahoma.

ETA: Nevermind, it was just canceled.
