What do you base that on?

Russian special forces advises this, as well as several krav Maga instructors...especially using your elbow to block

I know this may come as a shock to you... but military personnel (even the vaunted Russian special forces) cannot fight anywhere near as well as professional fighters.

This is another area where myth and legends have been perpetuated. A lot of people think special forces guys can just rip people apart in hand to hand combat. It's not true. It's a myth.

I'm convinced a lot of people answering lee never saw Tyson at his best.

"Wouldn't get the follow up" like Tyson was some slow lumbering meathead

The delusion is incredible.

140lb man trying to block Mike Tyson's knockout punch with a hand.

165 from what I've read but still doesn't change the point. Tyson hit above weight even at 220 lbs. he would break his fricking arm

And he also kicked a 200 pound heavy bag to the ceiling and could snatch a penny out of someone's palm and replace it with a dime before they could close their hand.

Ah, the Bruce Lee myths that were made up out of thin air.

Almost like the "Chuck Norris facts" except people actually think the Bruce Lee ones are true.

Have any proof of this other than his word or secondhand stories? In other words, has he ever been recorded performing this amazing feat?

I watched almost every Tyson fight...

He was 23 and was beaten by Buster Douglas...

He used a hard charge, 4 punch combo and intimidation to beat 30 men...

Anyone with a decent jab or fast feet had a chance against him, and if it went round after round, Tyson's chances slipped.

He was the best first round boxer ever, but guys like Ali would have given him hell.

Tysons decline wasn't physical it was emotional and mental. You make the point unwittingly. He was the youngest world champ. He spent the last 2 years of his undefeated run as an untrained head hunter who was falling apart and Douglas had no fricks to give and had the fight of his life.

Herschel Walker also said he never lifted weights and only eats one meal a day and it's soup and salad.

A lot of people say a lot of BS.
