I never played Magoc, but I was really into the Decipher Star Wars CCG back in the day. That game was incredible.

What about you?
Yeah, I’ve been preparing some things for batch painting but on the side, like a lot of the underworlds pets. The monkey, parrot (which I messed up kinda but still looks kinda cool) and grots. Been working on a death guard dude mainly. And 3 models of ork kommandos that are looking alright.
Lots of variety but k really want to make large strides in the next few months because I want to do a SOB army and I have to make progress on like a lot of the other stuff I want to do first so I don’t feel guilty

I wouldn’t say everybody who plays Magic is pretty smart. Most nerdy people I meet these days are pseudo intellectuals who want to a part of counter culture more than mathletes. It is a good way for people with poor social skills that we probably called nerds growing up to be able to socialize which is a good thing. The idea that the average magic or wow player is somehow more intelligent than some dude in the bar watching a game is a fallacy.

Competitive mtg is not a poor kid’s game by any stretch. And to win at it, at a high level, is more difficult than any sort of poker.
Poker should be an option after c which is the correct answer to the op. Dungeons and Dragons is full larp.

This is like asking which is wetter, Coke or Pepsi.

I know this dude who was super obsessed with WoW. He used to pay kids in China to grind all day for him while he was at work.
Right after Hurricane Katrina, his power was out like everyone else's. That dude bypassed his refrigerator, A/C, etc. to keep his computer plugged into a generator so that he could keep feeding his WoW obsession.

I would say World of Warcraft because it’s exclusively online. Magic: The Gathering is played in person, usually a group of friends around a dining room table, like a nerdier poker game. Magic is definitely still super nerdy, but I think the communal aspect gives it a slight edge over WoW.
