I actually disagree with this, at least in terms of what we think of when we say “social media.” Especially since this message board is anonymous for the most part. This may be difficult for someone like you to understand, but most people post here for conversation and discussion, not for attention. And even still, any attention would be random, anonymous attention if people don’t know who you are anyway.
