Serious question about protests and the virus

Is this a good litmus test to see how the virus spreads. I mean the population with the highest chance of getting the virus are out in groups exposing themselves. Should we see a new bump in Covid cases. People locked arm to arm. This could end the virus hoax as far how easily it spreads. Or it could prove it spreads rapidly.
