What are my options for taking payment for the car?
Besides taking cash, and subsequently running it through the bank's cash machine, what is the safest way to taking payment?
What is the buyer is financing the car?

I bought a car on ebay years ago and used the escrow service that Ebay backs. Was a pretty good deal actually. Once I won the auction the following took place:
- I wired the money to the service.
- after they confirmed funds, the seller was then told to ship the car.
- once I recieved the car, I had 3 days to get it checked out at dealership.
- when everything came back good I told the escrow service to release the funds. If I wouldve rejected the car, I wouldve paid to ship the car back.
The service even handled all of the title paperwork as well. Overall it was a good experience.
