Sandy, a suburb of SLC. From our hotel, it was a 30 minute drive to Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton. We hit a different mountain each day.

If you ski at more than a beginner or intermediate level late winter to early spring is the way to go. If you're just learning, go anytime after thanksgiving. It won't matter that much

Ok cool. I appreciate the info. It looks like it's going to be between Solitude or Grand Summit at the Canyons.
