Scott Rodgers Murder-Suicide Case In 2014: Anyone Remembers This Situation?

There was a show on TV the other night about this and I DVR'd it. I watched it after the game last night. I didn't realize how complex of a situation that was.
For those who are familiar with it I have some questions.
How did he end up in Baton Rouge from England?
How was he able to get here legally after being charged with being a pedophile in England?
I never really watched the dude on TV, but I have seen him on TV before.. If that makes sense and I know he was active in the community. It was obvious he was from England and that always raises red flags to me. Someone who comes out of no where, settles themselves in a community and instantly works to become well liked. My instincts kick in when it comes to people like that.. So it just gave off that vibe..
Anyway, I didn't realize he fostered two young boys who the feds went pick up from school about a week before he was shot and the guy who shot him, killed himself.
It is just weird how he had those two dudes living with him (they were in their early 20s) and then had those two younger kids.. He also had a biological daughter. I was a strange situation.

Yeap. For some reason I thought it was longer than that.. But when it happened, I just remember there was more to the story, but didn't really pay attention to it.. Then I watched that show and didn't realize all that was involved.

I wasn’t too familiar with him but didn’t he live a double life? There were some sketchy details about him that came out after he was killed.
Other thing I remember is some girl I’m friends with on FB was absolutely devasted about death.
