Same here, downsized out of an F150 to a new PreRunner. Gas and Insurance savings alone was worth it.

I saw about the same when I went fishing in Cabo last year...including a weird VW Golf trucklet, crew cab Mitsubishi, the Rangers AND F-150's. When I was in Costa Rica I saw a ton of those Landcruiser Prado's in the mountains. Those are awesome but the only version we get is the Lexus GX without the cool turbo Diesel.

Ford has been behind on trends for several years.
They are just now getting diesels in their F150's.
And they years behind in reintroducing a mid-sized truck.

They have cost themselves millions in sales.
