Yep my 1 year golden has a fenced in backyard to cut loose but we do have a 30 min wrestling match usually each night before bed to wear her out.

We've got a fenced in backyard, but unless I'm actually playing with him he just points birds or squirrels. On rainy days I pretty much have to just have him track a laser pointer in the house.
