Not recently. Been there about 5 years back when there were lots of homeless people but no visible poop on the streets.

The homeless have been there for 30 plus years, and certain inner pockets have been horrific for the same amount of time.

No, I´m not from San Francisco, I´ve been there often (for work, so I cannot opine with great knowledge of their problems and policy), and have seen the situation.

The city is a crude precursor of the future for everyone (as I mentioned in a previous post).
