The Ponchatoula Popeyes isn't bad. The other day I was able to get a chicken sandwich within about 10 minutes. Nobody threatened me and nobody was assaulted. Even asked the young lady at the drive thru if they had any problems since bringing back the sandwich and she just shook her head no.

You know, I've only had to pull ahead once for spicy chicken whenever I patronize the place. I can't imagine going to any other Popeyes.

Despite it's location, I've never had any problems at the Popeyes on Gentilly Blvd/I-610. Longest I had to wait was 5 minutes and I go 2-3 times/week during the lunch rush.

Have been there and never an issue. Don’t think you’ll ever have an issue with people holding up lines for the sandwich.
