Your obvious testosterone-fueled lack of understanding is not my fault, and after this I'll waste no more time trying to explain.
- I hate Islamist/Jihadist extremism and have spoken out against the barbarism of Islam for years
- As I've already said, I'm glad they are being bombed for various reasons
- Acknowledging our inability to wipe out an ideology with bombs is not a "hopeless" or "defeatist" attitude. It's called reality.

The US wasn't above chemical warfare, war crimes, and human rights violations in Iraq, a war they should have never entered. Just think of what they're capable of against ISIS, now with the full support of millions of pissed off warmongers.
Again, I doubt these were government sanctioned activities. I agree with your sentiment, though.

Clausewitz is dead, bro. Let it go.

I'd like to know how much time you spent in country. You sure like to judge our own.

What has he said that was wrong?

Indeed he is. But we're still faced with an enemy dead set on or destruction. So what do we do about that?

Get your old gang "Tons of Anarchy" back together and go show those cowards some American justice

Wow, I knew you lied about your history as a 1%er, but never would have guessed you weren't truthful about serving our country. Very shameful IMO.

Hard to say. The clausewitzien paradigm doesn't account for an amorphous, not readily identifiable and hyper-mobile enemy like ISIS. Where and what is the center of gravity that you propose we destroy?

What is the center of their world?

I don't think this is the answer or correct paradigm, but I think there are two cities that you could destroy to get your point across.

That's my question for you.

Well, in this subtopic, we've deviated from my original point which was that the President of the United States will never direct the use of chemical weapons.
and, FYI, I feel there is a valid argument for torture.

I've been known to take war crime assumptions with a grain of salt.

Murdering a cab driver held on suspicion =/= torture

Like I said, I feel there is a valid argument for torture. Not what you're referring to.

Plane loads, concert goers, all in different theaters but all being killed by an enemy that has sworn to kill us all.
How do you suppose we go about fighting them...and spare the Iraq hyperbole.
