Agree, but he’s not on duty, or wearing anything representing the department. I’m hearing he was suspended. Hopefully it does some good, but from the stories I’ve heard prior, he should have stayed low a long time ago.

I understand man. It was just a joke to poke a little fun at NOLA. I was a FF for about five years before I had kids and the ones I've seen that acted even half as big of an idiot as this dude seems didn't last very long. They'd end up getting fired for something small but to the letter of the city policies, it was justified. Or they ended up being hated by everyone and never had any opportunity to advance up the ranks and ended up quitting.

I agree some disciplinary action is warranted, but that type of guy on the warpath after getting fired for being that guy could result into a whole new, beautiful thread of it’s own!

Agree with everything you said. 
You know how it is, we stick together, and this type of guy is an embarrassment for guys who take their position seriously. NOLA is a different animal, the majority are proud, tough minded, hard working MEN. This guy is a child, with no respect for his position.
