What are the chances that Gasser is a hot head but is now remorseful? Seems to be basically fully cooperating? Is it possible he simply admits to the crime and does 1-2 years easy time?

I'd hope he's remorseful for whatever role he played in a man's death, whether it was self defense or not, considering JPSO says he began following McKnight first.

I also think serving 2 years for killing a man and admitting you did it in a fit of rage would be a travesty.

For the NAACP to come out and call it a lynching was laughable...and they wonder why people roll their eyes every time they speak.

Yeah the slogan needs to go. They're not calling it a lynching, they're just falling back on the NAACP slogan for years, but it quite obviously sends the wrong message.

"Stay in your vehicle or I will be scared of you coming over and punching me, though I punched someone myself in a similar incident at the same location."

Stop running from an arse whipping lol. I thought Gasser was a macho guy since he wants to spit on and punch people.

Not really buying that as a reason to kill someone. Same with the black guy from the link i posted before. People aren't animals, you don't just bust a cap in someone for stupid shite even though that seems to be a trend.

That's not quite being fair, and I'm certainly not a lawyer. But it would seem like if Gasser plead down to something like 3-5 years would be fairly normal? I mean this is by no means an open and shut prosecution, plenty of room for a hung jury or Gasser getting off clean. Id have to bet a DA would take 3-5 right now in a heart beat?

I'm not a lawyer and I can get him off easily, all his lawyer has to say is that McKnight threatened Gasser with the gun or in some way made Gasser believe McKnight was going to shoot him. With a gun found, its easily an excuse for Gasser to shoot. Easily. At worst, hung jury.

Did you forget that Gasser has talked freely to law enforcement for hours which was taped? Do you think he wasn't asked if McKnight threatened him with a gun? Do you know the answer to that if he was asked?

Do you think his lawyer is going to testify for him? It's doubtful that there are witnesses who actually heard the exchange which took place inside the car, but we don't know that either. Assuming no one heard anything McKnight said to Gasser, how are you going to prove that threat?

Do you plan to put Gasser on the stand? If Gasser previously denied that McKnight threatened him with a gun, do you plan, as his lawyer, to have him lie on the stand? You gonna lie for him?

I'm not understanding exactly how you plan to orchestrate this easily getting him off.

I don't know all the evidence law enforcement has at this time, so I have no idea whether Gasser will be convicted or not. At this point, I have no idea if the DA will pursue the charges, even.

About 1% (maybe more) of mankind are animals that have no remorse and don't value lives regardless. You're giving humans too much credit. You're correct for the 99%, but that 1% are absolute scum. Look at some of the heinous shite humans have done to each other.

i already admitting to the bad joke

shotty....gunshot.....get it?

the point is that gassner is not accused of killing McKnight. the fact that gassner killed McKnight is not in question. the manner in which gassner killed McKnight is the accusation

McKnight was leaning over to see Gasser in the window. He won't state whether or not McKnight was in the vehicle

Whether McKnight was in the vehicle or actively trying to gain entrance will be the crux of Gasser's 14:21 defense. It was the right thing to not speculate either way unless he has definitive proof that McKnight was in the car or not.
