When we watched it in the 9th grade in 1995 or 96, my English teacher knew the scene was coming and fast forwarded through it. I think he recorded it on HBO or Showtime. Fortunately, the teacher had a newer VCR that had a smooth scan fast forward. We still saw the nudity in Honors English even when he started playback it was frozen on the scene because he didn’t go far enough on the tape.

No one said anything back then, now if it happened you would have the school board, sheriff’s office, attorney general’s office, and the FBI investigating.

I think California passed a law that suspended statute of limitation for certain sex crimes if the suit was filed by end of 2022. That is why this suit is happening now. Just an opportunistic grab for money.
