Yeah, stupid me, that was Paul Harvey. Not like I didn't hear that line for years, either. For some reason I remembered Dr duke having a delayed line as well.

I don't think 99% of his viewers had any clue how accomplished the guy with that heavy twang was off TV.

Any doc 50 and under who is in Houston and wears scrubs and boots was probably a resident under Duke.

"Red Duke Disciples" they were called. Guy was an institution.

3 pages and not one mention of his biggest accomplishment (IMO)

He helped develop Texas' first Life Flight in 1976 and was director for 40 years.
